The recreation program of the San Juan National Forest includes 40 developed campgrounds, 12 day-use areas, five dispersed camping areas, seven boat ramps, five visitor centers, three fire lookout towers/cabins, 46 trailheads and eight scenic overlooks. 

This is still a great resource in the area to experience the outdoors in southwest Colorado.
